Realization of the new identity of a Sekundarschule situated in Berlin-Spandau.
Concept, Branding, Typeface Design, Collateral, Website.
Inspired by the singular work of the educational team with the students, an education that mixes structure and freedom, we took inspiration from exercise school books to develop an identity based on a grid variation.
Thereby the font’s abrupt and unfinished look tends to support singularity and experimentation. The second main elements – the forms – live outside the grids and light up the result. This combination gives flexibility to the concept and creates a duality between the structure to grow on and the liberated self expansion.

Displayed as light backgrounds, the grids are also the drawing base for every other element, which gives them a peculiar touch.

This combination gives flexibility to the concept and creates a duality between the structure to grow on and the liberated self expansion.
